Health and Safety
These notes have been prepared to hep you enjoy your stay at Llareggub. Please familiarise yourself with these notes as soon as possible after arrival.
General
The house will be unknown so you should familiarise yourselves with the layout -particularly the exits, stairs and corridors.
Care should be taken on the internal stairs especially by our guests with reduced mobility. It is sensible for all guests to use the handrail when going up or downstairs and the obvious precautions should be taken – not running and / or carrying large loads.
Fires
Both a fire extinguisher and fire blanket are located on the wall next to the microwave oven in the kitchen. If you bring and use any of your own electrical equipment, please ensure that it is in safe condition and of course, unplug when not in use.
If you light the wood burner in the sitting room you must not leave it unattended when it is alight, nor should any flammable materials (paper, log etc) be located within one (1) meter of the fire when it is alight.
Garden
Children should not be allowed to play in the garden without an adult present.
Extra care should be taken on the garden steps and slopes, especially when it is or has been wet.
Road
Care should be taken when going out of the front door, the road may be closed than you are used to and vehicles sometimes travel fast down the road.
All the equipment in the house is checked before each visit to ensure that it is in good condition so if you find anything that causes concern, please report it immediately to our letting agent as detailed in the house book.
